Bjoerling's Larynx: World Famous Opera Houses
David Leventi's traveled around the globe to photograph his latest series Bjoerling's Larynx: World Famous Opera Houses. These monuments to the arts have with stood wars, have been graced by royalty and have set world records. These stunning accomplishments of architecture lay quiet inside of Leventi's photographs, undistracted by the busy world they were built to contain. Even in the quiet solitude of an empty opera house, there still lives the spirit of all the performances it has hosted, Leventi's photos serve to capture that spirit and its energy inside these exquisitely detailed photographs. David Leventi was born in New York in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri and has gone on to have his photographs published in such publications as Vanity Fair and The New York Times. His past work includes photo essays of both Romania and New York, as well as the inside of maximum security prisons. You can see more of David's work on his website.
